Job Description
Summary
We are looking for a CNA available for two night-shifts (16 hours a week from 11 PM to 7 AM). My son is 46 years old, has normal intelligence, and weighs about 105 lbs. The job is in our home. We are not interested in talking to an agency. We need a licensed CNA who understands and speaks clear conversational English. That person also must be authorized to work in the US, be agreeable to a background check, and live within 15 miles of Niles preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Familiarity with G-tube feedings and Kangaroo pump
- Giving medications
- Using oxygen, nebulizer, and blood pressure equipment
- Willingness to be trained on CPAP type of machine (AVAP not complicated)
- Assisting with toileting
